The Technology Behind the OneMop® Patented Mop System

Patented in Europe, USA & China, the OneMop® & OneWipe design is produced by utilizing a compact box structure which gives volume, increases absorption capacity and creates form stability. Due to this design, these individual, highly-absorbent micro-fibres remain in even, direct contact with the surface, trapping dust, dirt & bacteria particles in place - lowering the opportunities for cross-contamination. This patented design gives the fabric a core of stability and volume in which the micro-fibres get maximum function while reducing materials and chemical consumption.

Microfibres are densely constructed fibres that are approximately 1/16th the thickness of a human hair. The density of the material enables it to hold up to 6 times their weight in water, making micro-fibres more absorbent than a conventional cotton loop mop or cloth.

Why Switch to Micro-Fibre?

Previously, the main reason to switch to micro-fibre mops and cloths is their innate and unique ability to clean without the use of chemicals. Now, by utilizing the OneMop® patented mop system, you will be cleaning more effectively and you'll be saving on chemicals, water & time with a minimal environmental footprint. You will notice a reduction in water usage, a decline in chemical consumption and you will be lowering the volume of chemically-contaminated waste water that is disposed of daily into our environment.

Why Choose OneMop® Disposables?

Switching to a disposable mop system has proven to cut expenses, maintenance fees & reduce labour costs, but these are just a few of the vast benefits you will achieve by switching to the OneMop® Mop System and the OneWipe Micro-Fibre Cloths. Other benefits include:

  • Simplifies inventory and space management
  • Increases chemical & inventory control
  • Has increase absorbency & particle holding power
  • Reduces opportunities for cross contamination
  • Greater cleaning & infection control
  • Prevents dirty mop heads from contaminating cleaning solution
  • Shrink your required storage footprint/space
  • Save employees & managers time & steps throughout the day by eliminating the need to constantly dump dirty buckets of water and gather supplies
  • Help prevent the transmission of pathogens
  • Overall reduction in solid/disposal waste in our landfills when compared to their traditional string-mop counterparts
  • Reduces maintenance costs
  • Reduces chemical costs associated with cleaning
  • Reduces cleaning times while increasing labour productivity
  • Ensures first-rate removal of both visible and non-visible particles

How Switching to The OneMop® Patented Mop System Will Lower Your Labour & Maintenance Costs

By utilizing the OneMop® correctly, you will see a reduction of chemical costs associated with mopping tasks. You will save on time associated with ordering, receiving and distributing these chemicals for regular cleaning staff. Don't forget, micro-fibre mops are faster and easier for your employees to use - with them weighing significantly less than a wet string mop it is easier to move across the floor, resulting in less muscle soreness and pain felt by the end user and improved speed of the actual mopping process! The end user is no longer required to dump out several gallons of water and cleaning solution out of a bucket, this could increase labour productivity by 20% with the elimination of these frequent trips to the supply cabinet/closet. You can help reduce your custodial staff injuries! Coupled with injuries from the repeated motions of mopping and wringing out the conventional wet mop, a full bucket of cleaning solution can weigh up to 30 pounds or more and has to be lifted an average of 7x/day! You can reduce operator fatigue with even just eliminating the effort required for wringing out a conventional wet loop mop! The OneMop® leaves less water residue on the floor, which reduces the possibility of slip & fall claims and/or injuries by staff or patients. You will be helping mother nature by reducing water consumption by up to 99% resulting in a decrease of your overall chemical waste into water treatment plants. Previously an estimated 21 gallons of water were used per staff member during their shift in a healthcare facility - now they have reported that on average there is 1 gallon of water used per member during their shift. Save on transportation, storage and all costs associated with soaking and preparation tasks to supply your staff with mops for ready-to-use. Conventional mops typically withstand only 50 washings, making replacement costs burdensome, by switching to disposables - you save while you clean!  UCDMC reported a whopping 60% lifetime cost savings on mops alone just from converting from a wet loop mop to a micro-fibre mop!
